Version 0.3 · Effective 2026-10-24 · Next review 2027-04-13

This notice explains the cookies and similar tools used on Uobo's websites. It is part of our Privacy Policy.

The short version

  • We use cookies to make the sites work, to count visits so we can learn what helps people, and to measure and show our ads on Google and Meta.
  • We do not use measurement to collect your name, number or email.
  • You can turn measurement off. See "Your choices" below.

What these tools are#

A cookie is a small file a website saves on your device. Similar tools (such as scripts and pixels) do the same job without a file. We call them all "cookies" here.

What measurement records, and what it does not#

It records which page you looked at, a few link clicks, and the first time someone starts a tool. We do not use it to collect your name, phone number or email.

Your choices#

  • Turn measurement off. Use your browser's settings or the opt-outs below.
  • Browser settings. You can block or delete cookies in your browser. Some parts of a site may stop working.
  • Google's opt-out. Google offers a browser add-on that stops Google Analytics from counting you: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
  • Ads. Turn off personalized ads in your Google account (myadcenter.google.com) and in Meta's ad preferences (accountscenter.facebook.com), or opt out of interest-based ads from many companies at youradchoices.ca.
